The end is nigh.
Our stuff is almost all gone. Someone even took the exercise bike. (There was *MUCH* rejoicing!) I still wish someone would come and take the microwave, tv and christmas tree, but everything else is really picked over and could be boxed up in about 2 minutes and thrown in the car to donate somewhere, no sweat.
I finished the 6th Harry Potter book this morning. I get so into books, and these are certainly no exceptions, I'm left all kinds of stir crazy and unsettled by the way it ended. I wish book seven was out already! But the thing is my brain is still in Potter's world, and though I'm antsy and need something else to do while I wait to see if anyone will come and take the last of this stuff, I can't find another book to start. None of them satisfy that need for more reading, because right now all I want is book seven! Argh, maybe I'll try one more time to finish "Eats, Shoots & Leaves" just so I can get it posted on bookmooch.com and out of the house.
Speaking of out of the house, I'm well over a net 250 less things at the moment and very much ahead of the game on my 365 less things goal for 2007. That feels really damn good. From here on out it gets a little trickier though. With about a dozen or two exceptions that need crafting, gifting or eBaying, I kind of want everything I have left. Some stuff is still going to have to go though. It'll be interesting to see what I decide has to go when it comes right down to it. If I can pick up my reading pace, I could probably get rid of 20 or so books yet this year. I know I have books that I won't want to hang on to after I've read them.
Don't know what's up for tonight. A movie might be fun, either a DVD or the theater. I am pretty stir crazy after sitting in the yard with my stuff for three days. ($100 and getting stuff out of here was worth it!) If I don't get out of the house tonight, definitely tomorrow.
