Dammit!

Tricked into making a doctor's appointment!  ARGH!

All I wanted to do was refill my inhaler.  My inhaler has been discontinued due to the propellant being an environmental concern.  I've received mail from the drug company, my pharmacy, my insurance company AND my doctor to let me know about the change.  I figured, everybody knows I need this, everybody knows it's changing, no big deal.

But no.  The pharmacy wouldn't give me the new stuff without faxing my doc for approval.  Whatev.  I can see there being red tape there.  But my doc called to tell me she'd refill it only on the condition that I come see her.  WTF?  It hasn't even been a year yet.  And it's not like she does much when I do go see her once a year to get that damn inhaler refilled!  40 minute drive in, 30 minute in the waiting room, I get weighed, 30 minutes waiting in the exam room, she takes my blood pressure, listens to my lungs and sends me on my 40 minute drive home with an $80 bill and a new prescription.  ARGH!!!  Waste of time!  I hate it!  I hate doctors and western medicine and all this icky health stuff.  HATE IT!!!
